JobsOhio today announced Nanogate SE, a Germany-based global specialist in design-oriented high-tech surfaces and components, will establish a new R&D center in Mansfield. Nanogate Jay Systems, the company's U.S. subsidiary, plans to add the R&D center to its existing facility, where more than 400 employees design and manufacture high-quality automotive lighting and interior components for major automotive manufacturers in the United States, Europe and Asia. JobsOhio is supporting the project with a $2 million R&D Center Grant.

The City of Mason and Festo, a German-based global corporation specializing in advanced automation technology for more than 40 industries, today announced the company will expand its existing state-of-the-art Regional Service and Manufacturing Center in Mason by approximately 350,000 square feet, nearly tripling the company’s capacity in logistics, production and industrial training solutions offered through its Festo Didactic Learning Center, which serves manufacturing companies and colleges throughout the Tristate.
